We are looking for a Project Engineer who aligns to our business drivers to join the Talbot Team to support our ambition in activating the transition to sustainable water.
The successful candidate would be based in Durban, KZN and involved in supporting the leadership of the project execution portfolio. This is a critical role in the growth and development of a core project design and execution team within our business.

- Qualifications: BSc or BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering; post-graduate qualification in Project Management (advantageous); ECSA registration or candidate in training.
- Experience: 7+ years in Project and Contracts Management within EPC/EPCM multi-disciplinary industrial environments.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering; project and business management software proficiency; experience in procurement, tender development, and installation leadership for water and wastewater plants.
- Certifications: NEBOSH, SAMTRAC, or similar SHE qualifications (advantageous).
- Knowledge: PMBOK, SHE, quality assurance, and engineering technology in water/wastewater treatment.
- Additional Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written), Construction background, and experience with Construction Forms of Contract (advantageous).
