We are looking for an HR & Payroll Consultant to support HR operations and contribute to the implementation of HR strategies aligned with Talbot’s goals.
As a People Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the payroll input process and effective payroll and benefits administration, data management and reporting.
  • Support the development and implementation of payroll systems and functions.
  • Effective internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
  • Effectively manage and support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Effective handling of IR related matters, including consulting on IR matters and IR administration.
  • Implementing and coordinating the overall strategy, drive recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing.
  • Supporting the performance management and employee evaluation process.
  • Planning, coordination and implementation of training programs and handling of training administration within the business.
  • Supporting the WSP/ATR and Employment Equity submissions process.
  • Manage and maintain Employees files and general HR administration.
Qualifications, Experience and Key Attributes

To qualify for this role, you should

  • Have 3-5 years' Human Resources and payroll experience
  • HR degree/diploma at NQF level 6 or 7
  • Good understanding of all labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, Skills Development
