We are looking for an HR & Payroll Consultant to support HR operations and contribute to the implementation of HR strategies aligned with Talbot’s goals.
As a People Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the payroll input process and effective payroll and benefits administration, data management and reporting.
- Support the development and implementation of payroll systems and functions.
- Effective internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
- Effectively manage and support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Effective handling of IR related matters, including consulting on IR matters and IR administration.
- Implementing and coordinating the overall strategy, drive recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing.
- Supporting the performance management and employee evaluation process.
- Planning, coordination and implementation of training programs and handling of training administration within the business.
- Supporting the WSP/ATR and Employment Equity submissions process.
- Manage and maintain Employees files and general HR administration.
To qualify for this role, you should
- Have 3-5 years' Human Resources and payroll experience
- HR degree/diploma at NQF level 6 or 7
- Good understanding of all labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, Skills Development
